On Friday, January 13th, 2017 freshman football player Jeffrey Northcraft was hit by a van while he was walking to Tokay High School in the crosswalk. He was rushed to UC Davis Hospital where he endured a little over 9 hours of surgery to repair the injuries he sustained.
Jeffrey has been released from UC Davis and is home recovering from his traumatic injuries, He cannot bear any weight on his legs for at least 3 months and is basically home bound between his hospital bed and his wheelchair.
